SERVE like Martha

When we hear about Martha in the Bible it is often in a negative way. She was the sister (of Mary) who was so busy with meal prep and homemaking duties that she wasn’t focused on her revered guest, Jesus.

I can certainly relate to that. As busy wives and mothers, we get tangled up in our to do lists and forget that the relationships, not the tasks, are what God wants us to focus on. But Martha also displayed great faith in God, as well and when she served Jesus and others Martha served with a faithful and loving heart.
